successful corporate worship doesn't mean that:
1. the people seem excited
2. the music flowed
3. everyone was in tune
4. everyone was raising their hands
5. everyone sang at the top of their voices
6. no one complained

because if the people did all of the above,
but didn't mean what they did,
then it's isn't coming from the heart.

ultimately, we are worshipping and praising GOD
and it involves the mind and heart
and the no musicians want to play the wrong notes or whatever on purpose, would they?

so.. don't be too upset that you thought it didn't go well or whatever
because you're not doing it to entertain or please people
you're doing it for GOD

today was welcome party for sec ones
the days i've been looking forward to all week.
and only ten juniors turned up?

skipped recess and lunch to put up the deco and get ready for the party.
got it all ready on time.
games: rather a flop.
and no one picked the interesting ones for blow wind blow!
grr. we played dorcas's cd for pass the parcel though ((:

fun. supposedly.

got our badges. bokteng and i are the only ones
who are still rank-less
cause when they were giving out the ranks,
we were at the back doing the pencils
and we gotta wear uniform next week!

went to queenstown library for prodot.
heh heh. alot of people didn't know how to get to the mrt/busstop
i stayed in the library
did homework, borrowed books.
then my parents fetched me

we made her a birthday card

then we went to parade ground
and didn't dare to go up to her
then sien suddenly grabbed me and ran with me over to her
poked her, then sien asked, in a VERY small voice
'is today your birthday?'
hahahha! so cute can!
then she handed over the card and we ran away

just got back from church
using for an hour then gonna watch my korean show

got stuck at the church's busstop yesterday
cause the rain super heavy
and i had no umbrella
so i stood there for almost an hour
waiting for someone
shirleen. who called me. and i thought she was chingying.
hahha

i got abit hearing problem now also la
bokteng called and i thought she was rebekah.
must be from hanging out with bokteng too much
she pass her virus to me

santuary was cold like siao.
couldn't even concentrate on pastor fu-man's talk.

finished at 9.30 plusplus
came out, refreshments, got home about10.45
my brother had friends over
i counted seven pairs of shoes
and i met him downstairs bringing his friend to the gate.
they kept pizza for me.

showered and everything by twelve.
about five of them were staying over
played mahjong with them.
until about four am.
then we went to sleep.
and i got up at 8.40 this morning.
heh heh.
cause had to go church ourselves.

played with misha after church.
she's cuteeeeee like siao!
can walk already.
she was eating instant porridge.
lol.

hmm. still got homework. home econs.
maths. science test. and english.
that's all i think.

this coming week gonna pass very fast.

another week gone. so quick.

today was bad for some reason.
until gb! (:
gb was great. planned the welcome party.
miss wong made dorcas chairperson! ((:

logistics is like super super alot of work.
and we thought it was just moving stuff.
lol. have to do the deco, and welcome gifts,
and dunno what other stuff.
next week is going to be extremely busy.

spilt up into three contigents(?) for drills today.
one drill competition people, the other sec twos, and another sec threes.
can't believe that we're learning stage three drills already.
that's.. sec three work?
dunno. i am in between jaclyn and rebekah.

ended late today, reached home past seven.
called the sec ones to comfirm if they were coming.
alot of people don't answer phone one lor.
and one call made me really mad.

my parents are coming home on sunday.
have to go to church myself tomorrow.
dunno if i can go joan's baptism.

today. was cca fair day.
my toes hurt like mad. from being squished up in my shoes.
even wearing boots seem better
that's how bad it is.

anyway. back to the point
cca fair. i messed up. TWICE. but i won't harp on it
cause i've decided to work extra extra hard for drills now
after making the mistakes during the performance today
the atmosphere is so different from during practice
totally different.
performing in front of hundreds of people.

we prayed before our first performance.
everyone gathered into a circle in the middle of the parade ground and held hands.
i could feel jaclyn's hands pressing tightly into mine
(okay that sounds pretty wrong)
and priscilla prayed for us.
it was great.

i didn't mean to cry then.
hahaha. i probably wasn't going to.
but it just came. cause i saw elizabeth.
and the second performance was much, much worse.

that's when i decided to work hard.

today i finally understood.
what they means when the seniors say,
do your best for drills for GOD.
i understand now and i will.

hmm. today seems to be the highlight of the week.
i can't even remember what happened in the last two days.
but that's okay.

joan wants me to come to watch her getting baptised this saturday.

asked her to come with me then take train down again. back to hougang.

and i rushed back. searching for their car.

4. control my temper better

6. pray every morning after i wake
7. buy presents early
8. don't junk up room with my clutter
9. keep nametags properly
10. don't leave earrings and necklaces everywhere
11. be early rather than late
12. brush teeth after every shower (haha. just for fun.)
13. start skipping whenever i can (to try and grow taller. nearly impossible really. still, it doesn't hurt to try)
14. drink 8 glasses of water everyday (i guess..)
15. don't eat so much (junk food, i mean. don't be like some people who say they'll go on a diet but really mean that they cut down on normal food but still eat junk anyway)
