28 August 2008, Thursday
No assembly in the parade ground today cause of the rain, heh.
No more ants for the rest of the week.
Rah. I wish my name starts with an alphabet that's near the front.
Mr Lee's attachment is over. We now have Mrs Khor back.
I bet Joan (along with half the class) is glad.
But seriously. He have us some graph question to do today, and we didn't even know how to start.
It's a wonder our Emaths results are still A1s.
Amaths is the failure. Go figure :/
Chemistry quiz on redox reactions, totally screwed.
Half equations? Oxidation states?
Huh?
Ughhhhhh. Getting progress report back tomorrow D:
Failed: Combined Humanities, Additional Mathematics, and maybe Chemistry/Physics
Mr Lee's really in a good mood these few weeks.
SS lessons are bearable now, even enjoyable.
Ahh I hope it lasts :D

27 August 2008, Wednesday
What is Murphy's problem?
Thursday's our free day in the holidays, and he has to go and book us extra Lit lessons on that day.
Now we have to either postpone our plans to Friday, or go after class.
Ugh.
I am determined to study for EOYs, because I've not been doing well this term.
I've failed Amaths, SS, Geog, English, and Chinese.
Joan won't let me be like her brother, who does well even without studying.
Nay, I don't have as much talent as him.
Jaclyn has a friend who has turned into a geek like her; me.
She got me hooked on doing Sudoku. Heh.
But I'm only a geek-in-training, cause I don't stay in class during recess.
Hah but I still love you even though you're a geek :D
Okay, dinner.

24 August 2008, Sunday
Aye, it's been a long two months, but it's finally OVERRRRRR
Well, almost.
Just one last trip to Peitong on Saturday and our church attachment for GB is done.
Weirdly, it doesn't feel like it's been two months already.
I guess when every two weeks there's a change, it doesn't seem that long.
I think that I'd even miss some of it.
However much you dread it, it was a good experience still.
And there are some kids and people you get attached to.
I adore Mrs Hou's son :D
He's so cute and act cool. Heh
Plus he's in my Primary school, and his teacher taught me before.
His eyes are so miniscule and he tries to act older than someone who is only P5.
Ahhhhhh :D His birthday is in two days.
Grow some legs, Nathan. Don't be like Bokteng :D
Went home in the rain for the third day straight.
I KNEW I should have brought my umbrella.
But I didn't.
Thus I had to make my way back under the heavy rain.
It's not nice when you have to avoid the worms as well.
Joan just showed me some Dylan and Cole Sprouse videos, ahahaha, hilarious!
Emaths MRT tomorrow, plus SS common test on Tuesday.
Haven't studied, haven't done any work.
One last week of school to survive before the holidays.

23 August 2008, Saturday
Today; horrible morning but okay day.
Woke up around 7 to go to Clementi, and it started raining just before I left the house.
Really, really heavy rain, not a small drizzle.
I was soaked by the time I got to the bus stop.
And, the bus ride wasn't good.
At least I wasn't the latest to arrive.
It felt good :D
Helping out at Peitong wasn't so bad.
They had games for devotion.
When do we ever do that?
We led games, played Blow Wind Blow and Poisonball.
I had fun :D
Didn't really have a debrief, I think the officers had an internal one on their own.
Anyway, we left to find a way out of the school and this nice person opened the gate for us.
Saw an ice-cream man, so Rebekah, Jaclyn, Bokteng and I got ice-creams.
Hah, Mrs Hou called and at first I didn't know who she was.
She stays so near to Peitong o.O
Went off to meet Joan at the library after that.
Ate at Cafe Galilee (as usual) and I felt incredibly guilty for not eating half my fish.
I don't know. Just wasn't hungry.
Tried to dry my socks and my shoes (cause they were soaked from the rain) under the hand blower in the toilet,
but so many people kept coming and going, and I had to make many trips.
Saw a guy from my primary school too.
Joan left at 3.30, then I finished my book and went off as well.
Walked to the traffic light, and who do I see sitting outside her church and reading?
Joan.
Huh, you pon cell?
Just ordered pizza for dinner, Pepperoni and Hawaiian.
Tomorrow my parents are coming back.
Plus it's the last day!!! Yeahhhhh
Friday, August 22, 2008
11:12 PM
22 August 2008, Friday
So today's the last day of the table tennis tournament.
I watched LJW play, and she lost, but she played well.
:D
Then I watched the China vs China gold medal match.
It was whoaaaaa.
Gold, silver, and bronze all belong to China, cause they're pro.
My parents are overseas, coming back on Sunday only.
Which means I have to take the bus tomorrow and I don't have an emergency driver if I happen to be late.
D:
Gotta set my alarm earlier.
PE today; I can't coordinate my arms with my legs.
I'm standing next to Jaclyn and we're both like 'what's going on?'
I think most of the class feel the same way.
At least Huilin behind me has a Chinese Dance background.
Hehhh. Huilin, go learn the TSL theme song!
(I tried to teach Jaclyn during lunch, but she didn't wanna learn)
Rahh there's much work to be done over the weekend, but our days are full.
Two more days!!
Had chapel, then went to the prayer thingy Mr Chua wanted for us.
Jaclyn prayed, and so did Tiffany, and I was so proud of her (:
Next went for the Mediacorp Sudoku challenge, where we had to do as much as we could in half an hour.
:/ I could only finish one easy one. Jaclyn finished two!
Ahahahaha. Miss Soduku-Smartypants-Nerd! :D
Skipped GB to watch the humanities challenge, in which our school came in third.
They ran out of time doing the presentation, but anyhow, I feel proud of them.
Heh. All the representatives are from our class.
Oh and of course, there were annoying people in the audience as usual.
Did vesper for GB, then went off with Jaclyn.
It started to rain, and I was very annoyed cause I didn't bring my umbrella again.
Walked a little in the rain to get home, but it's ok cause I'll be washing my uniform anyway.
Why do you change when you're with her?

7:11 PM
21 August 2008, Thursday
Today's a Thursday but it turned out okay.
Well, not from the morning though.
The prefect who does our class is, how should I say it, not someone I like very much.
She chased us out of our class again before we were ready.
SS was the surprise today, I guess because he's been in a good mood these few days
We had an hour of SS, which was quite laid-back because he was just talking about funny things, and not being the person he usually is.
Then it was English, but Mrs Rao had to go off, so he came back and in total we had almost two hours of SS today.
Wow. If it were a normal day, I think I'd just die.
Plus today Joan and I were happy happy thinking about TSLOZAC.
We kept singing the opening song over and over again. Heh.
And Joan decided that she likes Dylan Sprouse better now (even though he's fatter)
Oh well. They're both so cuteee.
Today Zack was so bad to Cody D:
Oh and a bird flew into our house while I was watching TSL.
It couldn't find a way out, so it stayed in our house for half an hour.
We took alot of (bad) photos of it.
But eventually it found its way out after hitting the ceiling many times.
Tomorrow's Friday, and there's dance for PE D:
Have I mention how I hate learning dance?
You either have it, or you don't.
I think half our class will fail the assessment at the end.
Three more days to the enddddd :D
Yes Jaclyn, we can do it!
Wednesday, August 20, 2008
9:59 PM
20 August 2008, Wednesday
Some weird little girl left a love note outside our house today.
My maid said that someone kept ringing the doorbell and the note was left outside the door.
It's kind of cute and funny.
More Maths classes on Saturdays, but we have GB.
D:
Teachers' Day next Friday, so it's a half-day.
Another day off for movie marathon :D
Tuesday, August 19, 2008
9:19 PM
19 August 2008, Tuesday
Japan people are leaving today,
and it feels like it's been very long even though they came only yesterday.
Hah I wonder if it was awkward for them in Huilin's and Jieying's house.
When things get to a point that no one speaks, just pok.
Guides' cookies are on sale again.
I will not be buying this year.
Jaclyn and I still have our cookies from last year. They had raisins in them D:
Anyway, Japan people sat in for first half of classes today, and unfortunately the first lesson was English.
Poor them. They sat through one and a half hours of Mrs Rao.
And it's weird to sit in a class when you don't understand the language.
When the class starts laughing, you just have to smile politely and hope it's not you they're laughing at.
Miss Koh didn't some today, which was a nice surprise.
We spent the time talk and laughing and arm-wrestling when we should have been doing something more constructive (like studying for the Amaths test)
Oh well at least we had fun :D
Lit turned out okay, although I can't say the same for Joan.
I was lucky enough not to be eeny meeny miney moed by Miss Norainee.
Moe landed on Joan and she had to be Atticus for the talkshow.
Pearl was so cute as Mayella, and whatshername, the throwclockgirl, was just PRO at being Bob Ewell. Hah it turned out quite funny.
Got pissed off in Physics, and we spent the lesson muttering stuff about him and knowing how to do the first question but not the second one.
Actually I felt quite proud that we could do the first question even though we weren't paying attention.
Then he had to spoil the mood.
Chemistry, went to lab and played around with chemicals,
then came back, rush-studied Amaths, then screwed the test up.
I'd be lucky to even pass it.
Joan says she won't accept me into Media cause I'm a suaku in media-y stuff.
I don't know how to make the words fly out in powerpoint, and I don't know how to do the screenshot thingy.
I bet Jaclyn would excel in Media :D

6:23 PM
18 August 2008, Monday
I can't believe you're really like that now.
You're so far away.
It used to be fine, waaaay back.
Sometimes I just feel so guilty for not trying harder, not holding on more.
Maybe you could have been okay if we stayed closed.
If we didn't just give up.
I didn't know it would be so bad.
I'm sorry.

8:38 PM
16 August 2008, Saturday
Maths class today, understood more about circle properties and pish posh stuff.
Went to Ikea for lunch with Joan after that
Sorry Jaclyn, no meatballs!
Just jelly and spaghetti and fries and nuggets.
I love Ikea.
Walked around and looked at beds and furniture and I felt so awwww about everything.
Joan bought some stuff for her cell thing and then we left for the library.
Convinced her to borrow some books, and then she went off for cell.
Parents picked me up, went to bras besah to get some calculator for my brother.
I went to Popular to get stationery, and was very annoyed when I didn't have my card.
I don't know what happened to it.
Bought dinner home, and my cousin is staying over for the night.
Bah, whole day tomorrow.
Two more weeks.
Friday, August 15, 2008
7:06 PM
15 August 2008, Friday
Okay yay, Singapore has at least a silver medal for the Olympics :D
It's fridayyyyyy (:
There's Maths class tomorrow, but oh well! Only for an hour, and I don't really mind.
You know how so many people are against Mr Lee?
I feel quite bad for him, cause you can tell that he's really trying.
(This is when Joan will tell me to stop defending him)
Hah that famous Indian guy came to our school to give a talk for assembly again.
He's so cuteeeee. And funny (:
-Shows photo of a younger and fitter him-
-insert cheers from the school-
"I knew you'd be impressed!"
Haha (:
Parents couldn't pick me after GB, so went to Coro with Jaclyn.
Got drinks from the shop we haven't been to for almost a year.
Ahh I miss the chocolate ice blended there :D
Took a double-decker 157 home, and sitting opposite me was this annoying woman.
You know how some people have faces you just want to slap?
Yeah, this woman had it.
I got on the bus and sat opposite her, and she looked me up and down in that 'mumble mumble students nowadays mumble mumble'.
Bah. -mutters angrily under breath-
So I stared back at her and rebelliously chewed my gum. Hah.
Got home and under my block was The Smoker.
Wahlao. I don't like him.
If you want to smoke, do it in your own home and fill your lungs with your own 4000+ chemicals.
Don't turn the rest of us into second-hand smokers.
And guess what?
People tell me it's only 5 more weeks to the End-of Years.
Wow.

9:08 PM
13 August 2008, Wednesday
Bah I fell asleep while doing Chinese homework, so I wasted my afternoon away.
To think that today was a day I came home relatively early.
Even missed TSLOZAC D:
Ugh, Murphy!
Joan and I are getting our English pro-ness back (:
(or so she says)
Mrs Rao gave us back our English compres, and Joan got 36/50.
Heh I'm so proud of her! :D
And Mrs Rao didn't mention that she got top along with Nichola. -mutters angrily under breath-
I got 34/50, which isn't an A.
So Jaclyn is happy cause she got her photos (finally!) from Joan,
Joan is happy because she watched afew episodes of TSLOZAC,
and I'm happy because I attempted to do Chinese (even though I fell asleep doing it and didn't complete my work)
Yeah, spread normalcy in a world of emo-ness.
Tuesday, August 12, 2008
5:38 PM
12 August 2008, Tuesday
Jaclyn is pissed off, and I don't blame her.
Really, it's not her fault this had to happen.
I mean, she was looking forward to it.
And next time you want to say things like that, at least lower your volume.
Or get out of our class.
I failed Chinese test by half a mark.
And English personal recount today was horrible.
Physics was okay, I think I'll pass, but it won't be spectacular.
I feel so proud that I was listening during Chemistry today.
Okay, not during the lesson, but Joan and I did the work that she gave.
And we understood it. A little.
Kay, many people are starting to watch TSLOZAC.
I feel so happy just thinking about it.
It's starting in 15 minutes, so I gotta scoot. Ta :D
Saturday, August 09, 2008
10:14 AM
11 August 2008, Monday
Heh I stayed up till 2plus yesterday watching episodes of TSLOZAC
Hahaha I laughed so much please. They're so hilarious and cute :D
Joan, I watched the Romeo and Juliet episode!
I thought the ending was kind of sad though.
And I watched the ghost episode too.
Wasted away the whole of today.
I really planned on studying/doing homework.
Brought back Amaths, Chinese, Physics.
Didn't touch any over the long weekend.
Dang, they're switching seats tomorrow.
Saturday, August 02, 2008
10:30 PM
2 August 2008, Saturday
Fell asleep while watching some horror movie yesterday,
so I woke up relatively early today.
Messaged Joan to ask what time to meet, and my phone conked out on me.
I was really terrified, since my phone is only a few months old.
The screen went black and pushed many buttons but there was no response.
So I took the battery out.
Reached the library around 12.20, then did some Chemistry homework while waiting for Joan to arrive.
These few times I've been arriving earlier than her.
I bet it has something to do with Murphy.
Went down to Cafe Galilee for lunch, but all the tables were occupied.
Stood around grumbling and glaring at people who were hogging the tables when they DIDN'T EVEN ORDER ANYTHING.
Then this small table by the door was vacated and we rushed to it.
Joan's book kept setting off the alarm, so she had to read under the table.
Ate mushy spaghetti, where
mushy = mushrooms.
I didn't get it and Joan had to explain.
Took a bus back myself cause it was still kind of early,
and I reached home to find my room changed a little.
My bed and the laptop had moved, while the wardrobe was totally gone.
There's a new shelf now, which will probably be dumped with stuff in a few weeks' time.
Watched TSLOZAC on Disney channel,
but I didn't enjoy it as much as I normally would.
It's a newer season than the one on Kids' Central, I think.
The people have grown obviously plumper, and it isn't as funny.
Went out to Dover for dinner, then sent my brother down to school.
Tomorrow's there's Little Lambs, and I still don't know if I'll be going to cell after that.
Friday, August 01, 2008
9:16 PM
1 August 2008, Friday
Lessons today, if a little boring, were okay.
English was blah.
All those non-library-goers, stealing our books! Bah!
NDP practice, many people from GB fell out.
Ahh it was quite embarrassing. There's practice again on Wednesday.
4 - 5.30
-mutters angrily to myself-
He's extremely annoying. The one who uses a handkerchief and has hemmed up pants.
He's biased against GB, and he doesn't make himself clear.
-mutters angrily again-
Went to look for Joan after GB, then headed to coro for dinner.
Ate at Coffee Prince dunno what restaurant, and I chewed my fish very carefully.
Rushed back to school cause we were running late.
Ended up sitting almost near the back,
and behind us were two INCREDIBLY annoying people.
It was a girl from our school, and she had a guy with her.
Throughout the whole concert he was just being a loser and making alot of noise.
Bahhhhhhhh.
Saved seats for Melanie and Huilin, but they didn't get to come in after all.
Don't think they'd be able to spot us in the dark anyway.
After the concert ended, we went to look for Ariela to ask for her autograph.
Now we can sell it when she becomes famous.
I got Jieying's one as well, and Joan got Lynn's.
Heh.
We'll be rich (:
