26 September 2008, Friday
I feel so accomplished these few days
Have not used the laptop at all
Just practising Maths until I sleep,
but you know what?
I don't think it helps much cause what I do, I already know.
Melacca Cip trip confirmed, leaving on the ninth.
As usual, separated from friends.
At least I have Bokteng and Jiyin, but Jaclyn and Joan and Ariela are going on the second trip.
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
Rah. I know it's totally childish to say this, but it isn't fair!
AND we're going with a ton of lower sec people.
Need I say any more?
I got 3/20 for Chemistry Post-Test.
Who in the world does better in a Pre-Test?
Our mouse is screwed, we need a new one.
Caught Survivor today; I like that it has no commercial breaks.
The person I like was voted out first, but the person I didn't like got out second.
Right now I don't really have anyone I root for
But I already can't wait for the next episode.
It's hard to avoid you when you're just in front of me.
Sorry I pretended I didn't see you.

21 September 2008, Sunday
I have survived this week using the laptop only twice.
Went library yesterday to meet Joan to study.
I saw him, again, and her!
Gahhhhhh.
And some sec two girl was sitting beside Joan's table in the cafe.
Waiting for her friend, but she got chased out.
Actually I don't know why I keep directing my anger towards her.
I genuinely liked her as a friend last time.
You know who I don't like?
People who don't thank bus drivers after the bus driver stops for them.
I was on 970 yesterday, passing by Sixth Avenue, and the bus was driving away from the stop when it pulled over again to let this lady on.
Rah the freaking lady just got on with her lame oversized sunglasses (really, the light in the bus was just blinding me), and didn't even bother to look at the bus driver or thank him.
Anyway, since Joan's parents were going to be in the library too, we relocated to Macs.
Ate so much I wasn't hungry for dinner, but I still ate again.
Did the Physics paper, a little.
But a lot more than what I would have done, if I had stayed home.
Some kid was having his/her birthday in Macs.
So many Ice Lemon Teas!
I have decided that the only book I will read now will be To Kill A Mockingbird.
And I will not stop halfway like I always do, and start from the beginning again when I decide to re-read it.
Went for early service, looked out for Tiffany but she wasn't there.
Yesterday I kept thinking, should I go for cell?
Then I decided not to and I felt so relieved.
I wish I could just outright stop going, but then they'd ask why
And then what do I say?
Studied SS, and once Tuesday is over, I don't have to look at that book again for the rest of the year if I don't want to.

19 September 2008, Friday
Ahhh yes I just found the More Than Words file on the laptop!
Bah our music files are all over the place.
I have decided that it will be the new song that I will obsess over.
This week, it was Daniel Bedingfield's If You're Not The One
Retarded song, yes.
But nice to sing, heh :D
High frequency. I don't know how he does it.
About two weeks ago, Bokteng told me that Channel U was showing Stairways To Heaven again.
Then, I was determined not to watch it.
I survived until yesterday, then I gave in.
D:
I know it's corny and sappy, but oh well!
I think this is the fourth/fifth time I'm watching it.
Oh, Jaclyn!!!
Survivor starts next week! Friday
In the afternoon, around 2plus I think
Repeat telecast at 11pm.
Ahhhh yes shall watch :D
I didn't know exams start next week.
I thought it was next next week.
Then Joan told me that SS and English paper were on Wednesday, and I was like WHAAAAAAT!?
And then, today I find out it's not on Wednesday even, it's on Tuesday
And we're having it in the hall.
I didn't know that too.
Rah I gotta be more attentive.
But, Joan and I actually managed to complete the Chem worksheet today
Thus I am glad and I feel proud of us.
Yay us! -clap clap-

14 September 2008, Sunday
Am I going to be proven wrong every week?
I thought today would be fine, but it wasn't.
I don't think I uttered more than a hundred words in those two hours.
How I know something's wrong is that even now, I'm already starting to count down how long I have till next week.
160 hours, if you're wondering.
This shouldn't be a chore, should it?

12:08 PM
13 September 2008, Saturday
Ahhh okay I didn't do any work when I got home yesterday.
Fell asleep after dinner, woke up at 10plus, then went to shower
When I came out, it was almost 12 (yes I know I take a long time in the toilet), so I went out to watch tv since my brother was using the laptop.
I turned to channel 16, Discovery Travel and Living, and guess what?
Nigella Lawson's on! :D
Heh I like to just sit and watch her talk and whip up pretty food.
It was Nigella Express, then Nigella Feasts
One hour of nice food :D
Bah, but after that I can't remember what I watched, just channel-surfed.
Somehow I managed to do that for 3 more hours.
Watched bits and snippets of random shows until 4am, which is when I decided that I should really go to bed already.
I even woke up at 10.30 this morning.
Thought I would sleep until lunch actually.
Ah well, I'd rather be awake than asleep.
If you're not the one
Then why do I dream of you as my wife?Hah he's such a sicko [:

9:21 PM
11 September 2008, Thursday
Well it's Fridayyyyyy tomorrow!
For once, I can actually REALLY go home when school ends at 1.30
Hah no more staying until 6plus.
I kind of like/love exams.
Failed SS again, as expected.
I got the exact same marks as the last test, 5/20
But really, when we do badly, he keeps harping on and nagging us about it,
but at the end of the day, I still don't know where I went wrong, or how to write the proper answer.
Until today, I still didn't know what the COE he kept talking about was.
Cycle of Explanation, apparently.
Rightttt. So what about it?
Lately many teachers have been giving motivational talks to our class.
Even Mrs Rao jumped unto the bandwagon today.
She showed us this powerpoint thing about optimism, which she saved on her laptop.
Joan and I saw that she had a folder labelled 'Junk mail' as well.
If it's junk mail, why does she save it?
But that's not the point.
Anyway, it was really unexpected that she actually tried to you know, help us.
Rah but she also talked about the book I brought to class D:
Exams are nearing but I haven't really felt it's impact yet.
I mean, we still have so many tests and projects, it just feels like a normal term.
But Jaclyn has already started studying.
Today she told me to study hard too.
Tomorrow because the rest of the clique are busy, I shall go home early and study a little.
I need new socks, but I really don't want to buy from Phyllis (is that how you spell it?)
Melaka CIP trip, should I go?

8:34 PM
10 September 2008, Wednesday
My parents hid the laptop, so I couldn't use it for the past two days D:
Went to Island Creamery to celebrate Ariela's birthday
We led her on a wild goose chase, first to the pizza place, then to coro, and finally to Island.
Let them eat cake!
Ice
cream cake.
We found the cake too difficult to cut, so we just dug in.
Five girls. One cake. Finished.
We're good :D
Joan got 32 for Maths!! -beams proudly-
Heh. I feel so proud of her! She deserves it, cause she studied.
Yayyyyyyyyyy :D
Plus it's her brother's birthday today, and she said that it's a "gift" to him
Sweet right!
Mr Disgusting is even more disgusting than usual these few days
Yesterday he actually made me take notes.
!?!?
What for!? He's just gonna print them out for us again.
Besides, Joan was taking notes.
Rahhhhhh.
When the exams are over, I am going to introduce them to Bishi Bashi :D
We have been over-obsessed over Last Christmas these three days.
My favourite verse of the song:
Last Christmas, I wrapped it up and sent itWith a note saying "I love you"; I meant itNow I know what a fool I've beenBut if you kissed me nowI know you'll fool me againWe even came up with actions, heh :D

7 September 2008, Sunday
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ARIELA!! :D
Hope you don't have Elites tomorrow, heh.
Eh, his name is spelt Z-A-C-K,
not Z-A-C!
D:
Today I was proven wrong about what I thought would happen/how I would feel.
It was better.
School reopens tomorrow, and guess what?
I haven't shown my Progress Report to my parents yet.
Weird how they call it the Progress Report, when there isn't much progress for me.
Oh well.
I ate Paddle Pop again yesterday :D

7:12 PM
I
really do not want to go tomorrow,
and I'm not talking about St John's Chapel.
3:52 PM
6 September 2008, Saturday
It's 3.55pm and I'm at HOME.
On a SATURDAY.
Feels weird.
I ate lunch at home on a Saturday for the first time in.. what?
Weeks? Months? A really long time.
Nothing much, except that I really intended to get started on Chinese homework,
but now I think I'll just leave it to tomorrow.
We have to go for service before debrief tomorrow, just great.
Jaclyn said last time that she might not be able to.
D:
And after that, I gotta go for cell.
Ariela's birthday tomorrow.
Hehhhh. 15! Not much difference from 14, but it's nice to feel older.
Happy birthday! :D

9:23 PM
5 September 2008, Friday
Well then, if this is hell, it's too kind on you.
Arrived at macs at 7.30 for breakfast even though we were supposed to meet at 8.
Got a lift out from my parents, cause it was raining and I didn't want to take the bus.
Waited half an hour for Joan to come, then 15 minutes later Jaclyn came, and she didn't eat D:
Hahaha. Oh well.
It started raining before we left, so we got out our umbrellas.
I miss my green umbrella D:
Jaclyn and I got splashed by a passing car, but it was Joan's skirt that got the wettest when we arrived in school. Go figure.
And, today they laughed at me because of my lack of height.
High gates should be illegal.
How are short people supposed to cross with umbrellas?
I got stuck.
Spent over two hours doing the powerpoint for Chemistry, but we didn't present today.
Joan moans that I'm an extremely un-computery person, just because I don't know that Windows Vista is new and because I still can't print screen.
But I still always end up being the one to do the powerpoint.
We're proud of it! Heh.
Plus our product is unique.
Go Thirsty Hippo!
Lunched at Ikea again, ate Fish and Chips.
Joan had pasta,
again, and her chicken.
Many of the lions are gone. They must be really popular.
And we saw this really cute hedgehog cushiony thing.
Ahhh but it costs fifty bucks.
I wanted to take a photo but Joan dragged me away.
And she was the one who was stepping on the rug :/
(Ha, I can use that to blackmail you now!)
:D
Went to J8 to watch My Sassy Girl, and ok, I admit that if it weren't for Elisha Cuthbert, maybe I wouldn't have watched it.
But even though it didn't get good reviews, I thought that it was rather ok.
I found it sadder than the Korean one though. Weird.
Bah, but there were annoying people in the theatre with us.
People say I stereotype others alot,
but it's precisely because SO MANY of them act the way they do, which is why they're being stereotyped.
Shall not harp more on them.
I believe Joan will do that.
On the bright side, Jaclyn passed her grade seven piano exam :D
The ringing phone during Chemistry was good news after all.
And Bokteng, I went to check, Keanu Reeves isn't half Chinese.

8:47 PM
4 September 2008, Thursday
Ugh my back muscle aches :/
I think it's from yesterday, when my brother and I did all that throwing stones into the sea thing.
Lit class today, so it really is at 9.
Surprise, surprise, Miss Norainee was actually on time.
Met Joan for breakfast at Macs, 7.30, which was waaaay to early.
We spent half the time there reading.
Then at 8.50 we realised we were running late so we left.
Class was blah, surprisingly almost everyone turned up.
I thought that most wouldn't be bothered to come.
Finished the chapter on suspense and tension,
and honestly I can't really tell what I've learnt.
Cancelled our trip to Pulau Ubin and Sentosa, and Bokteng and Zengxi didn't come,
so it was just Joan and I.
Lunched at Ikea :D
I love Ikea.
Ate pasta, and Joan got her Swedish meatballs as well.
The lunch queue was long, but we managed to find a table.
I grew to like it even though the place was crowded.
It was kinda cosy, heh.
Joan bought seven more lions, and I lined them up when she was paying for them, and said that they were in a race.
Some angmoh customer in front of us and the cashier smiled indulgently and us like we were cute little kids.
Ahhhh. Can I say again how much I adore Ikea?
Even the people are nice.
Ended up going cycling at Bishan Park.
Joan had bikes, which we tried to pump up cause the tires were flattish.
Hai, I'm a loser with a bike.
I can't even cycle straight, while Joan is going around cycling and saying, "Look Ma, no hands!"
Anyway, I practised first under her block, then we headed out to Bishan Park.
It was nice and quiet and little-peopley.
My fitness level is blah cause I got tired quite easily.
But it was fun and it felt good to get some exercise in.
THEN I had to make The Call.
Joan was checking the time on my handphone, and I had three missed calls and a message.
Gahhhh.
I don't want to go back.
D:

9:03 PM
3 September 2008, Wednesday
Eh I didn't come online for only two days and already so many things happened.
Huilin joined facebook and more photos were uploaded o.O
Rah there's Constantine later at 10 which I want to watch, which means that I only have an hour left.
Monday, Geog field trip. Went to Changi Point and East/West Coast Park
(I can never tell the difference. The one near Changi.)
Changi point's beach is much better and quieter.
Plus we saw more stuff there.
Dismissed at 3, then we rushed off to watch Wall.E
It was okay. Not the best movie I've watched, but cute and enjoyable nonetheless.
Took 157 home from a bus stop far far away from Joan's house
(Oh and we saw Jaclyn on her bus, flicking her hair.)
Tuesday wasn't much, just stayed home and attempted to start work.
Not much progress though, just did the English compre that we were supposed to have done before school closed.
Today I'm so proud of myself.
I managed to do finish English, and do Maths, Physics, and Chemistry.
This is a HUGE achievement for me cause usually, I don't do my work.
Oh well, maybe I'm chaning for the better.
(But it's till early days yet. Pride comes before a fall. Be gone, Pride!)
Went out for lunch to Ashton's with my family, since my parents took leave.
Somehow after that, we ended up at East/West Coast Park.
(The one we went on Monday for the field trip.)
This time we went to the quiester side.
Joan, remember we walked to the end, and there was this weird fence that we couldn't cross?
I think we were over that fence.
My brother and I tried to do the skiping stones thingy.
Failed, of course.
Our best is one jump each, before our stone sinks.
Oh well.
Tomorrow we have Lit class, but we aren't sure what time it starts.
I feel like just ponning it completely.
Kay I finished my post in 15 minutes.
To quote London, Yay me!
-clap clap-
