Aloha. I've been away a long time.
But nothing interesting's been going on lately, the only times I went out last week were to Jaclyn's house, to Subway for breakfast, to Ajisen for dinner, to chuch, to the library, and...
Anyway my point is, I'm home a lot and therefore my life is boring.
Back to school today, wasn't as bad as I expected it to be.
It was terrible for maybe the first ten seconds after I woke up, but I think I adjusted fine.
Now I'm just aiming to survive until this Saturday.
It's good to have short-term goals.
Lessons in the morning were a draaaag, but after Geog it was fine.
All the Geog teachers didn't come, so we're still not sure if we're going to be banded.
They gave us some worksheet to do though, so I quickly finished it, then went to sleep for the last 15 minutes of Elective.
First time I was glad that Geog is an hour and a half long.
Half an hour for one question!
I even took a long toilet break.
I know I did that worksheet very crapily though.
According to my calculations, we should end school at 1.30 tomorrow.
I hope they don't spring something on us at the end of the day, like today when Mr Chua said that there was peer tutoring.
Joan has started using wild cherry, and she says she's going to make that her scent now.
So mine's satsuma, and since Jaclyn likes strawberry, I've decided that that's hers.
I can't believe Jaclyn doesn't like the scent of satsuma though ):
Maybe it's the same reason why I don't really like strawberry or wild cherry too.
Too sweet for me.
Anyway, I was sniffing it like crazy in the shower just now.
If I were an addict, that'd be my drug.
Who needs cigarettes or glue or pills or whatever?

I've been remembering many of my dreams recently.
Last night I dreamt that we were taking our Os.
But we were in some weird place, a school, but like an MRT station too.
And we had to use many different escalators to get to the different destinations for our papers.
I think we took our ting li in the theaterette, but it was weird cause it was so dark and there was like only one row of seats.
And the ting li was difficult.
I kept falling asleep in my dream cause I couldn't hear the radio, it was too soft, heh.
And that's all I have to say for today.

I finally got around to watching 8 Mile this morning.
It was okay, but for me the best part was when they played Lose Yourself during the credits.
It's like listening to the song and understanding it for the first time all over again.
Haha, finally get the reference to the whole Mekhi Phifer thing.
I feel like going on and on and on.
I thought this obsession would die out like after two weeks.
This world is mine for the taking, make me king.

Tee hee, did anyone realise that for our Amath homework, the first question is a Trigo proving question, and they used a congruency sign instead of an equal sign?
Hah.
I had a really weird dream last night.
Dreamt that we were in some weird amusement park, and we had to escape from some gigantic spiders that were originally crawling around in huge net-mazes above the ground, then they cheated and came to the ground and chased us around.
It was freaky.
Then we saw some ant nest thing, and there were tons of ants milling about, and some were carrying Jaclyn's correction tape (the pink one with the reflective surface) back to their nest.
Somehow we escaped from the place, and the next day (in my dream), we went back and the correction tape was on the ground beside the ant nest again.
Then the next morning (in my dream still), I dreamt that we were told we would be going to 8 Mile, like on some road trip thing.
(But we weren't even in America!)
There were many bridges and everything, and I was super excited.
Then I woke up.
Damn.
Can't wait for the Beautiful video to be released.
It won't be funny like We Made You, since it's more serious and sad.
But it'll be interesting to know if he still acts as badly as he did in When I'm Gone.
Hahha.
But yes, very excited.

Had a go again today, but I wrote half a sentence and couldn't continue.
I feel like going to the library and borrowing the book just to understand what the whole story is about.

Finished Heymath homework, took almost five hours, haha.
I hate those four topics ):
Nah actually I don't like Emath at all.
My dad bought back Subway for lunch, but I ate four(!!!) slices of bread for breakfast, so I wasn't hungry.
Plus I was quite into doing my homework.
Ate around three, any later and I knew he would start nagging.
Ok lah, no. Don't think he would have. Heh.
I'm keeping the cookies for breakfast tomorrow :D
It's only the second day of the holidays, but I'm already scared that it's going to end soon.
I always hate having to wake up at 6 again when your body has just adjusted to waking up in the late morning.

Harper's Island just gets better every episode.
Finishing up Cycle 7 soon.
I liked CariDee last time, but watching it again I like Melrose now.
Which is weird, since I already know that she doesn't win.
And the show's edited to make her come off as the bitch, and the rest of the girls hate her, but honestly they're the immature ones.
Shall start Cycle 6 after this.

Some guy from camp stole my brother's iPod less than a month after he bought it.
How lame is that? -.-
So after service today, we went to Suntec cause there was some IT fair whatever.
It was my worst nightmare.
The place was overflowing with people.
I think I have a slight phobia of being in an overwhelmingly crowded place.
Plus I don't have good memories of Suntec.
Anyway, my parents asked me if I wanted anything, but I was feeling pretty annoyed about everything.
I think they'd probably get me one too if I asked, but no way am I going to blow $400 on some music player.
Honestly, 30000 songs?
Who needs that many? And okay, so you can put videos in or whatever, but how often do people actually watch movies on their iPods?
It's like he thinks our family is made of money or something.
Don't even get me started on the aircon thing.
I saw a mousepad, but they didn't stop long enough for me to look at it carefully.
Yesterday I realised that I have to go back to school to get my stuff.
Left some homework/worksheets under my desk.
And oops, Bokteng was right.
There actually is quite a lot of homework.

I feel slightly guilty wasting the whole morning, afternoon, and evening of today away, but maybe later if I have time I'll get started on homework.
Anyway, watched Chuck in the morning, then stopped at episode 7 cause Joan hasn't passed me the rest of the episodes yet.
I knew that ex-girlfriend was up to no good!
Wanted to get off the laptop then, but it's the first day of the holidays, I can afford to relax a little, so I opened the Simpsons screen, then decided against it.
Heh, I had a sudden craving for ANTM.
My first instinct was to watch the current season, but I'd missed a few past seasons, so I decided to watch Cycle 7, which is the CariDee season.
I vividly remember one of the later episodes had the girls in the water wearing long flowy dresses.
It was so pretty :D

Felt super excited this morning, woke up with Mockingbird playing in my head.
Only four (and a half) hours of school, then we have a two week break.
Macs for breakfast again, saw Wangyee's brother there, which I didn't believe was him o.O
Lessons were relatively fine, finished up our topic of whatever it is we were learning (is it still differentiation?).
Saw Jaclyn go over to the back to sit with Joan and Bok during Chem when Miss Lee left, was very tempted to leave my seat as well, but I stuck it through with Melanie and Isabelle.
Building bonds, or whatever it is Mr Chua wants us to do :D
Mdm Yeo gave us Kinder Bueno.
Melted quite a bit, but still.

Lunched at Ikea's, after finding out that Subway was so crowded and the place was so noisy.
Sat next to some family, which was pretty weird cause our table was so close to theirs.
Bused to the library (Murphy was in a really good mood today).
I haven't been inside since they renovated it a few months back.
Prefer the old layout.
Met my mom for dinner (Subway! :D), bused back on 61.
Still don't know when our meeting with Mr Chua is, I hope we don't have to come back in the next two weeks.
Rather stay back when school reopens.

Yeah, that's what we've been reduced to.
A supposed month of holiday, but only two weeks in reality.
Just did Amath homework, man was it difficult.
We have six questions, right?
I only managed to fully solve two questions.
The rest are halfway done; I either don't know how to continue, or I can't get the answer.
Who the heck came up with the idea of combining ln and e with differentiation?
What a jerk.
Not looking forward to integration at all.

TKAM the whole day today in the PAS.
I do like drama, just not when we're the ones forced to do it when we don't want to.
As Joan says, there's a difference between Drama and Lit.
I wouldn't have minded a lecture; I'm boring that way.
Anyways (HAHA), Macs in the morning for breakfast, first one there but thankfully not many people were around.
Joan came a few minutes later (but she says she was walking slowly...), then Ariela, then Jaclyn, who I thought would be the earliest cause she said so.
Heh. Had hotcakes, which smelt SO good.
I positively dread going back to school now.

Thank goodness Friday is over.
Career Guidance Day today, everyone went to school and was just checking each other out and eyeballing one another.
Comparing stuff you know, who has the shortest skirt, who has the highest heels, etc.
Joan and I talked about the slutty looking ones.
And I hate it when girls wear heels and strut when they walk, trying to clack their heels as loudly as possible.
I'm not saying that you can't make sounds when you walk; it's just that it's annoying when you want to show the world like Hey look at me!
Hah, no matter how much you try to pretend, you're still just a student dressing up.
I seriously hope that Joan and I get banded into the same class for Geog.
Oh, and we changed seats today -.-
Bokteng was super lucky.
We had to draw lots, and she ended up in the seat next to Joan.
Ariela is in front of them, at Joan's old seat.
Zengxi and Jaclyn are waaaaay in front, lol.
(Heh yes sleep early on Sunday, if not he'll pick on you again! :D)

I hate it when star questions are easier than normal ones.
I couldn't do question 17 of the Amath homework, so I skipped it.
We're changing seats next week.

Geez, now it'll be even harder to ask questions during class.
Just ransacked my closet, still nothing for Friday.
The only thing I'm not worried about is shoes.
I don't have a proper top, and the only suitable skirt (which isn't even that work-ish) I have I've only worn once, and that was way back in Sec 2.
I found it hanging on the rack, it's literally covered in dust.
Grah. Shall have to wash it if I really end up wearing it.

We've survived two weeks of Chinese intensive, now another two more weeks before the holidays can really start.
Lit today, Miss Norainee bought us breakfast.
And since our canteen is changing, I finally bought a drink now that you-know-who doesn't own it anymore.
Anyway, I thought it was just going to be quite slack and Joan and I were laughing about how the Geog people have to sit through two hours of Geog, while we can just relax, but turns out she gave us the ACS(b) paper to do, and the Geog students spent their lesson playing.
Unfair.
So we did the poem, which was pretty difficult but we all went to the canteen and she came around in our groups to help us.
I like it. Tough to understand at first, but way better than the animal coop thing we had to do :/
Just did the homework, wrote out the first answer but I realised I left out quite a number of alliteration examples, and I don't have foolscap so I can't redo it.
Dang.

That's it, our first O level paper over.
I don't think I'd ever felt so nervous in my life before. Seriously.
Neh, I just want to forget about it and not talk about it.
Well I think the ants are dying; good, they better be carrying the poison back to their nest and killing their queen.
I spent an hour yesterday watching them find their way and figure out how to crawl to get to the food-poison.
It was kind of cool actually, and way disgusting of course.
After they smelt/ate/whatever it was they did when they first saw the food-poison, they just went crazy, man.
You could see them just start running around excitedly.
There's still this faint trail now, but not as many of them as there were yesterday.
Heh off to watch videos.
